The homeowners wanted to completely rebuild their aging lake house dock while preserving the existing footprint due to local zoning restrictions that no longer allow docks of that size to be newly constructed.
Because previous dock structures had been built over older framing throughout the years, the project required careful demolition, structural reinforcement, and integration with the existing lake piles and support system. Our team removed the deteriorated dock structure, reinforced the existing framework for long-term stability, and rebuilt the dock using pressure-treated lumber designed for outdoor waterfront conditions.
In addition to rebuilding the dock itself, Cedar Creek Construction added a custom entertainment bar area with a butcher block-style countertop along with upgraded stair railings and integrated lighting leading from the dock area back up to the main patio space.
The finished project transformed the lakefront area into a functional and visually striking outdoor gathering space built for entertaining, relaxing, and enjoying the waterfront for years to come.
